Speechless

I am speechless, I am sad, and i am depressed

One site of earth, we are trying to uncover some holy truth, and the other side of the world, we have this.

Many would blame the religion. but i don't. I don't want to get myself burn, not yet at least. Instead, i would wanna blame the people that misinterpreting their believes and abusing their holy books, because they thought, this is the msg from god. (Allah, you better sms them soon.)

In there's any god, or human beings can bear with such sad sight? Is he happy to see this? If they can do this to a kid, what would they do when they are allowed to play with nukes?

God would never ask us to hurt anyone. and God wants us to live in perfect harmony. with OTHER RELIGION. God would want us to use religion as a guide, not strict rules. In this case, i think God would want us just to forget about them. Bring on the ARK!!

outrages!!

Ok, so, they wanna play with themselves and themselves only. then you go la to wanking party. we don't care. but you better find a thicker bush to do that, if not we will charge you with illegal gang wanking and indecent behaviour.

I mean, what is this. It's a multi racial country. can you guys just shut up. we gave you the right to talk louder than us, but don't make sensitive and stupid comment like this. Inter-racial activites are good and i believe a lot of people would agree to that especially on festive seasons like this.(mindy, don't think otherwise when i mention "inter-racial" ok?) we didn't say anything when you do it to the cows now, did we? you inter-species fonies...

lessons learnt today:

It's bad to have too many wives. Legal or illegal ones. (i don't care)
It's bad to do it to the cows. (it's inhuman) who's going to eat the cow later? them also...
It's bad to wank or do it with your best mates.(dude, your mates still need to shit with that)
It's bad to have Kelantan in M'sia. (somebody grant them independence, so that they can wank quietly.)

disclaimer: this article is written to point out that PAS (party amat stupid) is living up to their reputation. no other intention. thank you.

Perspective

It’s a harmony of lines. It’s a parade of colors. It’s the combinations of several horizons. And it defines the pictures that you take. Perspectives may vary from one person the other. But we can learn from one another and setup our own views. Eventually, we all will know the perfect angle for a certain shape, color and even timing of a picture. Taking picture is not just about the people, objects or landscape. It’s all about how you see it, and how you want other people to see it.

Remember, you determine what your picture will look like. Not anything else. Not the people, not the object and certainly not the landscape.

Stored digital images won’t last forever

By CELESTE mailto:FONGceleste@thestar.com.my

KUALA LUMPUR: Memories of a great vacation or important occasions are best captured on camera. But consumers have been warned that digital images stored on recordable disks or hard drives will not last forever.

They face the risk of losing their treasure trove of “memories” within seconds – by an accidental click of the button or computer virus, according to the Federation of Commercial Photographic Society. (eh... hello....... virus cannot attack CD one la.)

Its secretary-general Jeffrey Sek said consumers had approached their members to help salvage or restore images destroyed after their disks were infected.

“One customer stored all digital images of her two-year-old child since his birth in a compact disc without making any prints. When her computer was infected, she lost everything,” he told a press conference organised by MCA Public Service and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong. (what's Michael Chong doing here? he got photo printing shop meh??)

Sek advised consumers to get their digital images printed so that they could keep them for years to come. (this Sek must be someone who lose money because nobody's printing!!)

“Many consumers have the impression that images stored on recordable disks last forever.
“There are tips to preserve the disks but they can be tedious as one needs to store the CDs at a certain temperature and under specific conditions which may not be convenient for ordinary consumers.

“Also, new technology keeps emerging with gadgets being produced and what is considered new will turn obsolete like the VHS tapes.”

Sek said the society now had more than 2,500 members nationwide and consumers could always pick the most convenient photo studio to print their photographs.

The society is currently running a campaign to create awareness on the risk of storing digital images on recordable disks and advising consumers on the importance of printing their photos.
Sek said the average price was now 60 sen per 4R print while those printing a large quantity would get further discount.

==================================

okok, everyone's thinking of the same thing. No doubt, we cannot say that backing up pictures to CD's safe. and he is right that we have to store the CD properly. If these comments we read now is made few years back (ie. ten years) we would say:" ooooooo is it??"

but hello? we are already using portable DVD writer!! what is this? virus cannot attack CD!! hiyo.......... (pek chek)

60 sens for 1 4r picture... shit, i pay 50 sens for one piece for CDR!!! and it can store thousand of pictures!!

please use your brain to come out with marketing plan. nono.. what i mean was, use a updatable brain to make such comments please.. you are humilating the whole IT populations, including yourself!!!

Rules of being a Man (not a poof)

Rules of being a Man (not a poof)

Poof = Gay men in English slang.

01 Under no circumstances may two men share an umbrella

02 It is ok for a man to cry under the following circumstances:
a. When a heroic dog dies to save its master.
b. The moment Angelina Jolie starts unbuttoning her blouse.
c. After wrecking your boss' car.
d. One hour, 12 minutes, 37 seconds into "The Crying Game".
03 When she is using her teeth.

04 Any man who brings a camera to a bachelor party may be legally killed and eaten by his buddies.

05 Unless he murdered someone in your family, you must bail a friend out of jail within 12 hours.

06 If you've known a guy for more than 24 hours, his sister is off limits forever, unless you actually marry her.

07 Moaning about the brand of free beer in a buddy's fridge is forbidden. However, complain at will if the temperature is unsuitable.

08 No man shall ever be required to buy a birthday present for another man. In fact, even remembering your buddy's birthday is strictly optional.

09 On a road trip, the strongest bladder determines pit stops, not the weakest.

10 When stumbling upon other guys watching a sporting event, you may ask the score of the game in progress, but you may never, ever ask who's playing.

11 You may flatulate in front of a woman only after you have brought her to climax. If you trap her head under the covers for the purpose of flatulent entertainment, she's
officially your girlfriend.

12 It is permissible to drink a fruity alcohol drink only when you're sunning on a tropical beach... and it's delivered by a topless supermodel ….. and it's free.

13 Only in situations of moral and/or physical peril are you allowed to kick another guy in the nuts.

14 Unless you're in prison, never fight naked.

15 Friends don't let friends wear Speedos. Ever! Issue closed.

16 If a man's fly is down, that's his problem, you didn't see anything.

17 Women who claim they "love to watch sports" must be treated as spies until they demonstrate knowledge of the game and the ability to drink as much as the other sports watchers.

18 A man in the company of a hot, suggestively dressed woman must remain sober enough to fight.

19 Never hesitate to reach for the last beer or the last slice of pizza, but not both, that's just greedy.

20 If you compliment a guy on his six-pack, you'd better be talking about his choice of beer.

21 Never join your girlfriend or wife in discussing a friend of yours, except if she's withholding sex pending your response.

22 Phrases that may NOT be uttered to another man while lifting weights:
a. Yeah, Baby, Push it!
b. C'mon, give me one more! Harder!
c. Another set and we can hit the showers!

23 Never talk to a man in a bathroom unless you are on equal footing: i.e. Both urinating, both waiting in line, etc. For all other situations, an almost imperceptible nod is all the
conversation you need.

24 Never allow a telephone conversation with a woman to go on longer than you are able to have sex with her. Keep a stopwatch by the phone. Hang up if necessary.

25 The morning after you and a girl who was formerly "just a friend" have carnal drunken monkey sex, the fact that you're feeling weird and guilty is no reason for you not to
nail each other again before the discussion about what a big mistake it was occurs.

26 It is acceptable for you to drive her car. It is not acceptable for her to drive yours.

27 Thou shall not buy a car in the colors of brown, pink, lime green, orange or sky blue.

28 The girl who replies to the question "What do you want for Christmas?" with "If you loved me, you'd know what I want!" gets an Xbox. End of story.

29 There is no reason for guys to watch Ice Skating or Men's Gymnastics. Ever.

p/s: thank you mindy for the article and for the writer who wrote this. hehe

Malaysian going BONKERS!!!!

a little report i read this morning in http://www.thestar.com.my

Mental disorders afflict 21% of Malaysians

KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty-one per cent of Malaysians have mental disorders as a result of the pressures of life, and the figure is rising.
According to clinical psychologist Mahadir Mohamad, based on a survey from 1995 to 2000, depression topped the list, followed by psychosis, and drug and alcohol-related mental disorders.

“Based on year 2000 statistics by the Public Health Institute (Disease Burden Department), 108,324 people suffered depression.

“Those between the ages of 30 and 59 were most affected by this disease, and the figure is rising by the year,” he said at a forum on recognising mental health and illness organised by KL Clinical Psychology Counselling Centre here yesterday.

He said anxiety was also a form of mental disorder, with 33,714 people diagnosed with it.
Mahadir, who works for the Health Ministry, said 24,647 people were diagnosed with psychosis. Alcohol and drug-related mental disorders accounted for 21,441 and 27,522 people respectively.

“One of the main reasons for mental disorder is the pressures caused by life, love and marital problems.

“Many are not aware that they are suffering from such a disease because they refuse to spend money to get professional help,” he said.

and we all knew about this all along.

Last week when i was playing badminton, saw this guy smashing his 200+ bucks racquet to the floor, just because he lost the game. and they were not even betting!! (well, at least, i assume they are not, because they were Muslims)

if it matters.

If it matters to you,
i will say i love you a hundred thousand times.

If it matters to you,
i will stay by you, to stop your tears.

If it matters to you,
i will fight for you and protect you forever.

If it matters to you,
i will sing for you whenever you want to hear my voice.

If it matters to you,
i will not sleep, if you want to stay up late.

It if matters to you,
i will show you my heart, to see what's is it like, inside...

If it matters to you,
i will find a million reasons to tell you why i love you..

If it matters to you,
i will make a thousand promises and make sure i keep it

If it matters to you,
i will usher you to your dreams, so that we can meet and play...

If it matters to you,
i will walk with you at the beach everyday, to accompany you..

If it matters to you,
i will give you priceless gifts, not pricy gifts... (hehe)

for all that matters, to you.. i know i can never live without you.
because for all that matters to me, is you....

Look who's talking now.....?

My sunday morning started out as usual, waking up to the sound of "Eagles - Hotel California".. beautiful. Went downstair for breakfast after washing up. Wondering what is there for me to do today? Maybe i might head to Starbucks again, to pick up some reading.

Before i leave my place, i was manage to chat up with my 81-year-old grandma. To my astonishment, below is our conversation....

Grandma (G) - "did you see the news?"
Pink (P) - "not really, why? what's on tv?"

G: now ah, the "zheng hu" (government) wanna catch ppl who kiss and hug (you can imagine the hand gesture that she was making)..

P: Ah ma ah... that's old news liao lo...

G: ah? "si meh?" (is it?) but how come like that one? ppl wanna hug and kiss also cannot...

P: -_-''' Ah ma ah... they all think ah, what they cannot do, we also cannot do in public...

G: "Ki Siau" (crazy) ah!! "ang mo lang" (westerners) all ma kena tangkap lo...

P: hiyo, ah ma ah... i think all ang mo lang dunwan to come to malaysia liao la...

G: hiyo... now the society more conservative compare to last time. last time alcohol you can get in pasar, now wanna get a beer also like have to smuggle thru kastam.

P: yeah lo, like last time you have party every weekend at your house.. so nice...

G: eh, Ah Ping ah, you wanna learn Tango or not, ah ma teach you... (hehe)

P: wait la, i got time first...

G: Hai... come to think of it, the new ah tau (head/lead/minister) also no use one... coming out will all the stupid rules. See him lembik lembik like that... stand also cannot stand...

(and then she went on commenting about more stuff while i unlock the door for me to go out)

As you can see from the conversation above.. Even my 81-years-old grandma also understand what is it like, to be in a free society. Although we claim that we are in the new age, but most of us still have the mindset of the stoneage.

We cannot continue to give up our rights, just because they think it's not right.

My advice to you, my dear government : " The more rules you have, the more rule breakers you will have" It's common sense... and i desprately hope that you can at least have some of those...

Malaysia?

Before you think, you can take away our basic human rights, I wanna do a shout-out to our real rights in life.

We cry for clean water, basic need for all human beings.

We cry for law to protect us, not to trouble us.

We cry for protection from the government, not extortion from petrol price hike or chicken breast price control.

We cry for perfect harmony among races, not the discrimination among races.

We cry for better service from the civil departments, not longer or extra tea break time.

We cry for better public transport system, not some run down 50 year old bus station that causes traffic jam.

We cry for freedom of speech, we don’t need Karam Singh to report to us, yesterdays’ fabricated news while putting his hand up.

We cry for basic right for food, not mad bird, cow flu or stupid mouth and foot disease to go with them.

We cry for a normal workable policeman, not those fatty that fit just nice in a run-down Kancil.

We cry for better benefits for sportsman and women. Cos we are fed-up to see the 1992 Thomas cup advertisement over and over and over again.

We cry for better education institution. Cos I don’t see Nobel coming to this side of the world. Oppps, sorry. Somebody from Myanmar already got it.

................

What is this overwhelming feeling? My hands begin to feel numb. My heart begins to weaken. As I begin to close my eyes to end my day, there you are, in front of me.

What is this overwhelming feeling? I can’t feel the space beside me anymore. Is it you? You are around me, right? I know it’s you, I can feel you.

What is this overwhelming feeling? That feeling that always reminds me of your heartbeat. That feeling that urge me to try to reach out, for a person that I think, who is not replaceable.

What is this overwhelming feeling? I know that there’s something I need to do. Things that will put me nearer to your heart. I dare not own it because I don’t want to break it. I just want to be around it, to protect it, and to hold it, until the day I die.

What is this overwhelming feeling? There’s no jealousy, no lust, no envy, no hatred. It’s the pure and innocent joy that we always put together. It’s our laughter, together, to make our jokes complete.

What is this overwhelming feeling? I can’t breathe. I can’t talk, walk nor sit properly. Jumpy but weak leg has made me wonder if I am guilty of a murder. A murder that take away her life. A murder that has also taken away mine.

What is this overwhelming feeling? I can remember all your touches. All your words, and all your kisses. I can remember everything when I am with you. And for eternity, I hope, to keep all the sweet memories, to keep this overwhelming feeling of LOVE.

I may not be with you now. But I have sent over my heart to you. hold it with care, just like the way I am holding yours.

It’s taking over my mind, soul, and it controls my feelings. Never really felt this way before. Her existence has now taken over what I thought I have total control on. We have long held back our feelings and confession comes after a great deal of courage and flaming desire to own one another.

Cheers!! 80's babies

For your reading pleasure...some might be true.Hope you will all enjoy reading it. This might bring you back the oldmemory especially during those school days.....

Signs that you are a 80s' baby:You grew up watching G-Force, He-man, Transformers, Thundercats,Silver Hawk, Woody Woodpecker, Chipmunks and Mickey Mouse. Not toforget Ninja Turtles, Mask, Smurfs and Voltron too.

Girls watched Japanese cartoon like My Little Pony, "Xiao Tian Tian","Hua Xian Zi" etc.

You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in primary school afterrecess time.

You squatted by a drain with all your classmates beside you, andbrushed your teeth with a colo urful mug.

Remember the days when the school nurse, comes with a list for the! dentist appointment, the sound of the drilling when your friend has afill in his tooth.

You remember the packets of milk we get in primary school toencourage us to drink more milk. (It is only cost 30 cent per pack)

In secondary school, girls go to the library to borrow theirfavourite romance storybook.

In secondary school, girls altered their school skirt to shorten itand guys will go to the school appointed school uniform tailor shopto tailor make their school trousers to the then fashionable "baggypants"!

During primary school days, the teacher will punish you using a rulerto hit your palm.

A bowl of noodles soup cost only 30cent in primary school days.

When you were in primary school, girls like to go to the bookshop tobuy cute stuff such as animal erasers, various shape sharpeners, colourful notebook etc.

Hankyu Jaya, Yaohan departmental stores used to be a favouritehangout for families dur! ing weekends. In secondary school days, you buy the Bata BM Turbo or Pallas Jazzschool shoes. Some guys like to wear those china made ankle high shoes. Some even like to wear those very thick socks with their schoolshoes.

Internet? E-mail? What the hell is that?So you thought a decade or more ago, your friends don't have pagersor handphones in school.

CDs? What's that? Cassette tapes were the norm. Movie tickets used tocost less than $5 last time.

The goodies from Mama shop used to be Chickerdis, Mamee , Kum Kum,UFO, O-Ya, Ding Dang chocolate balls with toys in the box, colourfulhard "egg","cigerette" bubble gum, KIKI Bubble Gum, pink bottle of bubbles c/w asmall tubes with yellow sticks to blow "more lasting" bubbles thatyou can pop more air in or slam it on.

You never forget 'Ti Kam'.When exams are over, the board games (e.g Monopoly,Donkey, Transportation Comparison Card) & held ! video games will beall over the class room.

Your favourite sound is the bell! For it's the homemade ice cream man. The cream that tops Haagan Dazs!

And the other peddler you love is the old lady who sells juicy MuahChee and thick olden syrup rolled in a balloon the tip of a chopstickstick.

Another bell is the recess bell, a time to get away from school workand to eat.Another time when there is no bell but all guys will anxiously waitfor it...The PJ (Pendidikan Jasmani), PE time (time for football)

Your favourite childhood games were playing "gu li"(marbles), fivestones, five bottle cover, zero-point, catching, "Pepsi-Cola one twothree" and/or "Police & Sentry"!

The best thirst quencher of all times is the yummy colourful icetubes you can buy from provision shops for only 10 cent. To eat them, break the tab and suckwhile holding the freezing tube!

All gals have a girl doll/strawberry shortcake/my little pony/poundpuppy, while all boys have a soldiers figurine (combat) or a rubberband catapultthat shoots folded paper!

Once was the era whereby ice-cream sticks were valueable items, thencame the paper aircrafts, chalk fights. Some boys made their own guns from wood, and used 'Bacali' as thebullets. Some even used matches to shoot and burn kids'lanterns duringMoonCake Festival.

And your favourite holiday was Lunar New Year! New clothes, Ang Pows, shopping, junk food and family outings!Let's see, the majority of students in universities today were bornin 1987 / 88.... They are called "youth".For them, they have never heard of the song "We are the World, we arethe Children..."

And the "Uptown Girl" they know is by 'West Life'but not 'Billy Joel'.For them, there have always been only one Germany and only oneVietnam.

AIDS exists since they were born.

CD exists since they were born.Michael Jackson is already whitened.John Travolta is always round in shape and they can't imagine howthis fat guy could be a god of dance.

They believe that Spiderman and Incredible Hulk are just new films. They can never imagine a black and white screen for a computer. They never know what is Atari or 'Game & Watch'.They can't believe a black and white television ever existed and theydon't even know how to switch on a TV without a remote control. And they never understand how we can go out without a mobile phonewhen we were in university...

Let's check if we're getting old...

1. You understand what was written above and you smile.

2. Most of your secondary school friends are getting married.

3. You are always surprised to see small children playing comfortablywith computer.

4. When you see teenagers with mobile phones, you shake your head.

5. You spend less and less time talking on phone with your friendsdaily.

6. When you meet your old friends from time to time, talking aboutthe good old days, repeating again and again all funny stories youexperienced together.

7. Lastly, having read this, you are thinking of forwarding itto some other old friends. You think they will like it too.....Hahaha!.... Yes! We are getting old too...........Brings back old memories huh?

Cheers to the 80s babies!!!
